Google’s John Mueller said on Twitter that there is no bonus for using a .com domain. For example, .club is a generic top-level domain just like .com for Google.

If you’re targeting particular countries, it’s usually better to use the top-level domain of the country. If you target visitors in Germany, use .de, if you target visitors in France, use .fr, etc.
