How to check your rankings

The Ranking Monitor in SEOprofiler enables you to check the position of your web pages for any keywords on Google, Google Mobile and Bing. The rankings are checked daily. It’s very easy:

Step 1: Enter your keywords

Click the ‘Add your keywords’ button on the ‘Overview’ page of the Ranking Monitor to add your keywords:

Enter your keywords (one per line) and select the language and the country in which the rankings should be checked.

If you want, you can also specify a location from which the rankings should be checked. For some keywords, Google shows different results depending on the location from which you search.

Step 2: Enter the pages that should be checked

By default, the Ranking Monitor checks the rankings of all pages of your site. You can also check external pages such as your Facebook page, YouTube videos, or blogs on different domains.

In addition, you can check the rankings of your competitors for your keywords. Click the ‘Add competitors’ button on the ‘Overview’ page to add the pages that should be checked:

Step 3: View your rankings

The page ‘Ranked Keywords’ in the Ranking Monitor shows the keywords for which your web pages are listed. Click the ‘Details’ button to view your ranking history for that keyword:

Use the filters above the list to find particular rankings quickly and easily:

Step 4: Get ranking opportunities

Go to the ‘Opportunities’ page in the Ranking Monitor to find keywords that could deliver many more visitors to your site:

The PTI column shows the potential traffic increase. The PAV column shows the potential additional visitors.

Make informed decisions

The Ranking Monitor makes sure that your rankings are under your control. The rankings are checked daily and you get alerts for unsuccessful keywords.

Power-users can export all of the rankings, including historical rankings, as a CSV file to create custom reports in MS Excel or other spreadsheet applications.
