The ‘Get keyword links’ tool
Links from web pages that contain your target keyword are better than links from unrelated web pages. Links that contain your target keyword in the anchor text are even better.
The ‘Get keyword links’ tool helps you to find websites whose links will have a major impact on the position of your web pages for the desired keyword:
- Enter the keyword for which you want to get high rankings.
- Enter the URL of a website that currently has high rankings for that keyword or click the magic wand icon. Then click the ‘Start’ button to get suggestions.
- The list shows web pages that contain the targeted keyword in the web page title and that link to the top-ranked page. That means that these web pages are likely to link to pages in your branch.
- If you think that the website should link to your site, click the ‘Add’ button to add a website to the Link Manager in SEOprofiler.
- The ‘Get keyword links’ tool has three categories: pages that contain the targeted keyword in the page title, pages that link to the top-ranked page with the targeted keyword in the anchor text and pages that contain the targeted keyword in the domain name.
Click a panel on the left to open the corresponding category.
The ‘Opportunities’ panel shows a table that lists all three of the analyzed factors (page title, anchor text and domain name):
- The table is sorted by match type (exact match, broad match) and then by the number of occurrences of the targeted keyword in the different elements.
- If you think that the website should link to your site, click the ‘Add’ button to add a website to the Link Manager in SEOprofiler.
- The online report shows only a selection of the links. To download all links, click the ‘Download’ panel on the left.
Links from web pages that use your targeted keyword in the page title, the anchor text or the domain name have a high impact on the search engine rankings of your website for that keyword.
