A webmaster asked on Twitter if there was a maximum amount of static pages Google can index for one static website? According to the webmaster, the limit used to be 250 static pages, and after that you had to break a website into smaller sites.
It’s unclear why the webmaster thought that there ever was a limit of 250 pages. Google’s John Mueller said that there was no limit:
