Google: HTTPS can be a dealbreaker

The HTTPS ranking signal that was announced by Google some weeks ago has not been very significant to many webmasters. Google’s Gary Illyes commented on that on Twitter:

If two pages are equally good, the HTTPS pages will get the better ranking. That means that there are many other (and more important) things that you can improve before switching your site to HTTPs.

The Top 10 Optimizer in SEOprofiler analyzes all important elements of your web pages and it tells you how to optimize them so that your web pages get better rankings.
