Google releases another Penguin update

On Twitter, Google’s Matt Cutts announced the release of another Penguin update. The Penguin 2.1 update is the fifth update to the algorithm since the initial Penguin launch:

The Penguin algorithm is a part of Google’s ranking algorithm ‘Hummingbird‘. The Penguin algorithm targets websites that might have purchased backlinks. If your website rankings dropped after Google’s Penguin update, you should try to get rid of the paid links.
