The Ranking Monitor in SEOprofiler is a powerful tool that checks the positions of your web pages on Google, Google Mobile, Yahoo and Bing for your keywords.
The positions are checked daily and you can specify the exact location from which the rankings should be checked (for example ‘USA, Knoxville, Tennessee‘ or ‘United Kingdom, Airports, London Luton Airport‘). The Ranking Monitor in SEOprofiler supports all locations that are supported by Google.
Multiple rankings for the same keyword
Some websites are ranked several times for the same keyword. For example, a website can be listed in the local map pack and in the organic rankings. Other websites are ranked in the image results or the news results.
Until now, the overview table on the page ‘Ranked Keywords’ only showed the top ranking that a website had for a keyword. Then you had to click the ‘Details’ button to get all rankings of the website for the keyword. This could be confusing if the top ranking was an image ranking.
Regular rankings, local rankings, image rankings, etc.
The new version of the ranking monitor now shows both the regular ranking and the highest extra ranking in the overview table:
In this example, the website is listed on position 11 in Google’s regular results for the keyword ‘example keyword phrase’. In addition, the website is listed in the local map page in position 2. As the extra position is in the local results, the position is marked with a red local marker.
In addition to the regular results, the Ranking Monitor in SEOprofiler checks local results, video results, news results, image results, finance results, and shopping results. All of these types have their own visual marker in the Ranking Monitor.
All rankings in detail, unlimited competitors
Of course, the details view is still available. The details view shows all of your own rankings, as well as the rankings of the competitors that you monitor:
You can monitor as many competitor websites as you want with the Ranking Monitor. In addition, you can monitor external pages such as your Facebook page, YouTube videos, etc. If your website is listed more than twice for a keyword, you can see all rankings in the details section.
