Google: why some pages are crawled less often

Googlebot visits some web pages more often than other web pages. According to Google’s John Mueller, that does not mean that the pages that are crawled less often do not get high rankings. Regular crawling is not a requirement for high rankings.

If your web pages do not change regularly, it’s fine if Googlebot does not visit your pages often. However, you should make sure that there aren’t any problems on your web pages. Google might be wrong about the updates on your pages, and there could be other things that prevent Googlebot from visiting your website.
