Google releases ‘payday loan’ anti-spam algorithm update

Google’s Matt Cutts announced another anti-spam update on Twitter:

The new update targets spammy queries such as ‘payday loan’, adult keywords and other keywords that attract a lot of spammers.

On the search marketing expo SMX Advanced, Matt Cutts explained. This update impaced about 0.3% of U.S. queries and up to 4% of Turkish queries.
