Why should you analyze the links of the web pages that you visit?

There can be a variety of reasons why you might want to analyze the links that point to a particular website or page.

For example, the links that point to a website can help you to find out why a web page has high rankings on Google and other search engines. You can check the words that are used to link to a page, how many links the particular page has, etc.

You can also check the links of a website to find out whether the website is popular or not. If you find a website that should link to your site, a quick analysis of the links that point to the site will help you to get a better idea of the quality of a website.

Here’s an example:

Say you’re surfing the web and you find a cool site about running. Wouldn’t it be nice to get a link from that website if your website also has to do with running? Just click the ‘Analyze links’ button in your bookmarks bar and you will get a Link Profiler page in your current project:

Just click the button

The links are automatically filtered by the page that you have viewed. Use the menu on the left to learn more about the links that point to the site. You can also use the filters to work with the links that point to the site.
